NERO Massachusetts
- Corporate
StatementNEROtix Unlimited, Inc., d/b/a NERO
Mass, NERO Massachusetts, & NERO Ravenholt, provides
customers with a Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) experience in which the
customer can escape everyday life to become heroic adventurers or devious
villains for a short time. The
organization makes use of the NERO ®
International Game Systems © and provides an environment including props,
costumes, and plot lines suitable to the theatrical nature of a LARP, allowing
the customer to participate in fantastical adventures. Events include open-to-the-public adventure days and weekends, as well as
private, custom-tailored corporate retreats.
Giving Back to the Community
- Benefits,
Volunteerism, and Special Programs
NERO® Massachusetts has been fortunate
enough to do business with several public and private sector non-profit agencies
in the past, and we are now making a strong commitment to giving back to our
community. From a supportive, considerate customer base, we are able to gather
teams of volunteers who will donate time and energy to help those organizations
with which we work.
If you are a non-profit organization geared towards adolescents and young
adults, we are interested in working with you to provide short adventure
afternoons for your youth group. If you have benefits that need volunteer
staffing and support, we happily provide free advertising in our monthly
newsletter and on our website, and encourage our customers to donate their time.
We are open to ideas as to how we can further give back to our community!

Diverse Customer Base
Creative Outlets in a Family Setting
As the oldest NERO® chapter in
existence, and as one of the United States' longest continuously running LARPs,
NERO Massachusetts has a highly diversified customer base. Players and
staff range in age from the early teens to mid- to late-60's.
NERO strives
to be a family game, with a strict no-tolerance policy against the use of
alcohol and drugs, so parents will often bring their adolescent children to play
along side them. Additionally, we do not allow religious references in the
game in order to avoid offending any player's personal beliefs.
Our customers come from a wide range of backgrounds and we count among our
numbers doctors, lawyers, tax accountants, computer scientists, theatre
professionals, students, bus drivers, and more. In short, there is no
"typical" NERO customer – the common ground is found in a positive
outlook and a strong desire for creative outlet.
