Corporate Retreats
Looking
for something different for your company's corporate retreat? Consider a
customized NEROŽ event to get your team motivated and re-energized. NERO
Massachusetts and M.G.C.D. Consulting can provide you and your company with a
variety of programs to suit your needs. Do you and your staff need a total
escape? Nothing but fun? Perhaps your management staff needs to work on
communications and self-evaluation. Maybe it's a department that needs a fun way
to learn how to work as a more effective team.
The
Great Escape - Just for FunAnywhere
from 6 to 60 employees at a time can get together for an afternoon, an
overnight, or a full weekend of high fantasy medieval adventure. Your staff will
be taught the basics of the NERO rules structure and will be trained in the use
of our foam boffer weapons, as well as several other key skills. They will
create characters of their choosing, and will interact with our staff of
professional role-players in a ducal society during which time they can battle
the evil minions of darkness, save the town and even the Duke himself, finding adventure around every corner.
Management Retreats -
A New Way of Looking at Daily Management Tasks
Groups of 6 to 35 employees will break up into teams
to work towards specific goals in a fantasy medieval setting. Groups will
observe how other teams achieve or fail to meet goals in their struggles to save
the hapless townsfolk or defeat the evil magician who has captured their lands.
Successful results will be achieved through teamwork, planning, communication,
and innovation. Interspersed between fantasy modules will be real world analysis
and workshopping to discuss tactics, communication, and team building skills.
Managers will be asked to assess their own strengths and weaknesses, and to
role-play characters that are both similar and dissimilar to themselves, thereby
gaining insights into new management techniques.
Team Builders -
Great for Departments and
Cross-Departmental Groups
From
6 to 50 employees are trained in the basics of the NERO rules system, and are
presented with several goals to be achieved within the context of our fantasy
medieval settings. Prior to moving into each challenge scenario, your staff will
be assisted in the creation of characters that they feel will best suit the
challenges ahead of them. They will then work to resolve the adventure problem
as best they can. After the adventure is complete, the group will analyze their
effectiveness both as individuals and as a team, and will discuss means to
enhance strengths within their teams. Your employees will be guided to analyze
parallels in processes used on existing corporate projects, and new team-based
approaches will be discussed.
