OOG Update
So we’ll be having at least 3 separate “large scale encounters”, more commonly referred to as field battles, as well as a handful of modules. IG, these encounters occur over a 10 day period (days leading up to and following the event). As such, in between each encounter scenario, characters will receive a full reset of their abilities. The format will be more like a module-day than a 1-day event; meaning, players are welcome to hang out IG in a common area, but there likely won’t be a lot of NPC characters providing RP outside of encounters, other than helping prepare players for a specific encounter.
If you have a team going to the event, and there’s a specific module concept everyone is interested in (i.e. we want to chase down that orc that stole aunt Hilda’s carriage!), send us the details and your request and we’ll see what we can arrange. Modules are expected to run opposite (i.e. at the same time as) the large encounters, though some may run during the downtime between as well.
We’ll be posting “blurbs” regarding each of the large scale encounters within the next week or so. At that time we’ll begin taking PC sign ups for which encounter you want to NPC (should you register for that option). We will only be accepting a limited # of PC -->NPC sign ups for each encounter to try and maintain a good balance. If you register for the event and select the option to take an NPC shift but do not inform us of which encounter you want to NPC, we’ll assign one for you (‘cause we’re helpful like that). That being said, if you know there’s an encounter you want to PC... let us know as you may end up getting slated to NPC that inadvertently.
While this is expected to be a smaller event (i.e. # of players), we held back a bit of treasure from our last event to help with IG compensation at this event. Said differently, there’s going to be pretty decent loot!

OOG Update
A few more details for everyone! As mentioned previously, the main focus of the event will be the 3 field battles, but we will be offering modules as well. And if you haven't heard, there's a corn-maze, and we will be running modules in that area (super fun!).
Important Note - In between each encounter (i.e. field battle & module), characters will get a full-reset! Also, if you have an alternate character that you want to PC for one of the fights, that is an option!

Brown Horses Massacre
The Raven's Herald has learned of a sudden and well-orchestrated attack on the Westmarch community of Brown Horses by the Montesques. Not more than five days following the Battle of Port Rowena, the forces of the enemy launched an insidious ambush on this small village, only hours from Silver, Westmarch, and a day's hard ride from the baronial capital, Ironvale. Details at this time are vague on how such a daring assault could have occurred, considering the heightened alert and readiness of the Westmarch military, particularly the speedy responses normally attributed to the barony's cavalry.
Since the attack, and the successful raising of another of the Montesques' Dark Spires, the area (like other places that they've attacked) has been quiet, though reportedly, herds of horses have deserted the region, and domesticated horses are notably harder to control and keep settled.
More details about this battle will be provided as the Raven's Herald learns of them.
-----------------
The Daughters of Death have impaled the lands of Ravenholt with three of their mysterious Dark Spires, like claws digging into the flesh of the world.
The Heroes of Ravenholt have successfully destroyed two of the Dark Spires, determined to thwart the Montesque will at all costs.
Now in the heart of Capulus, beneath the Stream of the Executioner, ancient evils once held in thrall by a master vampire will be bent to the Twins' desires, unless its mysteries can be penetrated, and a primordial struggle won!
